    Our Family Home

“Our family home designed with family in mind”
A family’s strength and love With every birth and Union grows. Every crisis faced together makes the family stronger.

    About us

When Sam and I were married.
We knew our love for each other resides in our hearts, it is where we are most vulnerable. Testament to that love for each other were in our actions.

We promised each other during times of trials, misunderstandings and hurt feelings, no explanations were expected.
    More importantly not needed!

All unspoken words were placed in a single white rose. In this action she taught me that passion is fashioned in acts of love.

Gods Got You Foundation is My Sam’s White Rose.

God’s Got You knows firsthand what it’s like when there is no cure. To watch a loved one in their final hours as they lose the battle to terminal cancer. Resources such as hospice care, cancer treatment centers, and other programs do their best to meet the needs of those who need care. To be there to help guide families for that moment.

However, there are families who fall through the cracks due to income guidelines, geographical restrictions, and other prohibiting factors.

God’s Got You addresses needs that have been proven to be lacking when a family is caring for a terminally ill loved one:

    • Time to express our love & honor our loved one’s life in the time they have left.
    • Care for the Care Givers
    • Hospice home care

Therefore, we focus on meeting these needs by providing the family a caregiver for respite, offering a safe, comfortable home suitable for hospice care, and bringing families together for an unforgettable reunion that will create memories to last a lifetime.

If your loved one is terminally ill and battling cancer, we want to help. God’s Got You serves families throughout the Continental United States to provide caregiver services, hospice home care, and family reunions.

    Kathleen Anne Dundon.

    Affectionately known as:

    SAM

It happened so suddenly! After going to lunch with a friend Sam was up all night with what we thought was food poison.
She woke up the next morning with her eyes yellowing. After a doctor visit and blood test, she was referred for an endoscopy and was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer Feb 22, 2018.

That day my heart lost its way when our doctor spoke the words no one wants to hear.

    “You have Cancer Sam”

As I stood there bewildered, fear washing over me.
    I heard her say
    “Gods Got it “
If this diagnosis is indeed true.
We went from a lifetime to less than a year.

    “WE HAVE STAGE 4 CANCER”

As I reached for Sam’s hand the shock washed over us.
My World stopped. All I could do was stare into her eyes in disbelief at what we had just heard.
My Sam who is so strong showed a crack in her armor. As tears welled up in her eyes she was shaken, my heart ached.
The strength of her faith in Jesus shown in her eyes, he was clearly holding her up.

When she finally spoke which seemed like an eternity.
Her first words were concern for me. She whispered I’m sorry I have to leave you. She truly was a gift from God.

    “Gods Got It”

True to form, Sam’s first reaction was to acknowledge her Savior and protect my heart. This was the way Sam lived her life.
Even during a battle to save her own life, her thoughts were to protect the hearts of others. She always believed that her service to others was unremarkable.
To those who knew her, nothing could be further from the truth!

    “Gods Got you”

Sams final journey on earth spoke to the damage hearts denied have on families. Sam would say our hearts find salvation. Our actions Speak for our hearts. Gods Got You Speaks with you.

Perhaps, it wasn’t my goodbye that was missing. Maybe I needed to hear a final farewell from them, hear that they were OK, that they lived full lives, and were satisfied with the end of the story.

When the miles that separate us leave you missing your chance to say good bye. Forever longing for their final words.

Many carry this grief with them. I doubt they pondered whether I loved them, but in saying that goodbye I could have let them know how deeply they were loved. Having a chance to see them before they go one less regret to carry. You can help give the gift of compassionate care giving.
